Responsibilities
ž¢ Monitor and handle import and export shipments in-time to avoid penalties / Demurrage.
ž¢ E-invoice/ E-Waybill generation for goods movement (Import/Export).
ž¢ Liaison with FFA & CHA for both Import & Export Shipments clearance under Customs.
ž¢ Proper Internal & External mail communications regarding Import / Exports Etc.,
ž¢ Up-to-date & Maintain all certifications & DSR for marine insurances (Import & Export).
ž¢ Handling Govt. audit queries like DGFT, Customs queries, SIMS registrations and post/pre
documentation process with Customs, DGFT, Banks and other government dept. and
agencies.
ž¢ Vendor & Supplier Negotiations regarding Import & Export Operations.
ž¢ Responsible for all imports must ensure internal document formalities viz., IGP & GRN and
accountable documentation update in system every week.
ž¢ Detailed knowledge about Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees & other shipping
documents pertains to import & export shipment documentations.
ž¢ Filing and keeping records of all imports and export documents properly.
Required Competency Skill
Expertise in Computer applications like MS-Word, MS-Excel, Power Point &
Good Presentation Skills, Hindi Speaking (Optional).
Required Skills
In-Depth knowledge & current trends & schemes about Import/Export, Ocean Freight,
Customs Clearance & DGFT related Compliance & documentation.
(DGFT, Advance Licence, E-BRC, DBK & RODTEP, GR WAIVER, SIMS/PIMS, HSS, EPR,
BIS, SEZ & EOU, FTWZ)
Relevant Industry Manufacturing / CHAs (Customs House Agents) / Logistics (FFA).
